Free stories and songs for toddlers for Chinese New Year 2023

The Chinese calendar inaugurates its new year on January 22, 2023. For the occasion, fifteen days of festivities take place all over the world, including in Paris where many events are planned. For the little ones, meet on Saturday January 28 in the morning, to attend tales and songs.
In 2023, the Chinese New Year falls on Sunday January 22 and thus inaugurates fifteen days of festivities for the transition to the new year on the Chinese calendar. At the Jean-Pierre Melville media library, we celebrate this event with stories and songs in Chinese, French and Vietnamese on saturday 28 january.
Every Saturday morning, it’s time for story for toddlers from 0 to 3 years old Mediatheque Jean-Pierre Melville. ¨For the Chinese New Year, songs and stories from Asia will be told. Story time lasts 30 minutes and there are two sessions scheduled for this Saturday, January 28, 2023: the first at 10:15 a.m. and the second at 11 a.m. Be careful though, reservation is mandatory!
Chinese New Year in Paris 2023, the program
The New Year, Chinese or Vietnamese (Tet holiday), Korean, Singaporean, Malaysian, Indonesian and Filipino, more commonly known as Lunar New Year, falls this year on Sunday January 22, 2023 and traditionally lasts 15 days.
