Recipe: how to make Jennifer Garner’s oatmeal brownie?

Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ⅓ cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Combine all wet ingredients (coconut milk, maple syrup, peanut butter, liquid vanilla) in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add them to the dry ingredients (except the chocolate chips) then mix everything together.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and mix again.
  5. Pour the brownie mix into a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Cut a slice of this brownie directly with a spoon: as there is no flour, this cake is deliciously melting… so be careful when unmolding!
