Cambodia’s Svay Rieng and Prey Veng send wishes to Long An
Officials from the Cambodian provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng, went on Friday January 13 to present their wishes for the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023 to the Party organization, the authorities and the people of the Vietnamese province of Long An (South).

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Long An, Nguyên Van Ut, briefed Cambodian officials on his province’s achievements in socio-economic development, including growth of 8.46 percent and budget revenue of nearly 22 trillion VND .
He spoke highly of the efforts of the organs of the provinces of Long An, Svay Rieng and Prey Veng to energize their traditional relations of friendship and cooperation, contributing to the development of each province.
In particular, within the framework of the Vietnam-Cambodia, Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Year 2022, the two countries have organized many meaningful activities to celebrate the 55e anniversary of their diplomatic relations (June 24, 1967-2022).
These results were attributed to the traditional friendship and integral cooperation relations between Long An and two Cambodian provinces, said Nguyên Van Ut.
He extended his wishes for good health, happiness, success and peace to the hosts and the populations of the two countries on the occasion of the New Year 2023.
