Free distribution of a book on Korean culinary art in French
SEOUL, 14 Dec. (Yonhap) — The Korean Cultural Center in Paris has posted a free online guide to Korean culinary art in French written by Luna Kyung (Kyung Yoo-kyung) and titled “Hansik, Korean Gastronomy.” This post offers the basics of Korean cuisine from A to Z on “how to prepare the dishes seen in your favorite dramas”.
With the collaboration of the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), the author presents Korean cuisine globally with daily mores, interviews with great chefs, practical points on Korean restaurants in France as well as Must-try food recipes like kimchi, bulgogi, japchae with beautifully done illustrations.
The Korean Cultural Center in Paris described author Luna Kyung as “a cooking enthusiast and specialist in culinary fermentation, in order to reveal all the secrets of Korean cuisine to you through the booklet”. Kyung is a Korean gastronomy specialist who has lived for more than 30 years in France and has been running a blog on Korean cuisine and its philosophy since 2009.
